I want to see someone who will do it and explain it to me. Not a voice that will tell me what to do … or not a text that will tell me what to do. So the call center or chat are not helpful in this case. Booking online appointments fast would be the best option.

Go to https://apple.com/retail, chose the store you want to visit, then click Genius Bar. It will ask some questions, just answer them and you will be able to schedule an appointment. To get past some of the other help options say it’s hardware related.
